In 2022, we sponsored 25 Bestmed cycling shirts for young cyclists, who represent Laerskool Lorraine Primary School in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

The team practices on a weekly basis, and participate in local cycling and mountain bike competitions, proudly wearing their Bestmed branded cycling shirts. During 2022, team members participated in 10 local competitions, racing countrywide. The young cycling team has been and still is the top Schools and Development team in the Eastern Cape.

“Our team made us proud with several category wins at the 2022 Nelson Mandela Bay Schools MTB Series,” says Mr Alex Cooper, Bestmed Schools Team Manager. “Mia de Witt and Jess Santos won the overall sub-junior race, while Junior Ntsinde and Stefan Boshoff came took second and third place – a full podium.” Go team! Your Bestmed family is proud of you!

“Our team is all geared up for this year and we have been invited to race in the Herald Cycle Tour early February,” says Mr Cooper. “We are also introducing a Skills Development Track on our grounds, combined with a CrossFit course. We will have tuck shops, Wi-Fi areas, conference facilities and much more. Our cyclists are already reaping the benefits of this track.”
