Since our inception, Bestmed has distributed communication to members via post. Unfortunately, the continued deterioration of the South African Post Office means that we aren’t ever sure that members receive the communication we send to them. As one of the leading medical schemes in the country, we also understand that we have a responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint and paper usage.

Consequently, the 2024 year-end communication (2024 benefit and contribution updates) will be the last postal items distributed by Bestmed. 

All members who only receive postal communication are requested to get in contact with the Scheme and provide us with an email address to send all future communication to.
